Jesus Came to Be Your King

The Gospels give a third of their content to the passion week, because this was the most significant week of Christ’s life on earth.  This was the week that Jesus would present Himself as Prophet, Priest, and King.  The fate of the Jewish nation rested on their decision to accept or reject Christ’s claims.  Similarly, your spiritual fate rests upon your decision to accept or reject Christ’s claims as Prophet, Priest and King.
