Jesus Is Our King

We have hope, because Jesus is our King!  One of the most tragic aspects of the Easter season is Israel’s rejection of Jesus as their Messianic King.  Jesus was the perfect fulfillment of the prophecies concerning Israel’s coming King, but they rejected Him because He claimed to be the Son of God.  Jesus even predicted this rejection.  In fact, Israel’s rejection of their Messiah was also predicted by Isaiah and many other prophets.  Jesus willingly laid down His life to give us hope of eternal life.  The spiritual destiny of every person rests upon their acceptance or rejection of Jesus.  This message explores the hope that we have as Christians because Jesus is our King.
