Live to Love

Live to Love

Who is it easier to love, believers or unbelievers? Who is it easier to get bitter against, believers or unbelievers? Which likely has the greatest impact on your relationship with God? Unfortunately, other Christians can sometimes be a greater hinderance to our intimate fellowship with God than unbelievers can be.

In chapter 3, John expands upon the three principles of fellowship that he introduced in the first two chapters. We’ve learned that the way we deal with sin, our Christian brethren, and our enemies, the world, the flesh, and the devil, all affect fellowship with God. John expanded upon the first fellowship principle of dealing with sin in the first half of the chapter. Verse 10 is a transition into John’s expansion on the second fellowship principle of dealing with your brothers and sisters in Christ.

In this message you’ll learn that living without love, isn’t really living as God intended. Here’s why and how you should live to love.
